Drainage: Naturally wet
Fertility: Very low
Land Cover: Moorland rough grazing and forestry
Habitats: Wet heather moor with flush and bog communities
Topsoil Carbon: High
Mostly Drains To: Stream network
Water Protection Issues: Vulnerable to erosion where vegetation is lost, and difficult to revegetate. Colloidal colour in drainage waters is a problem where peat humification is accelerating due to climate or moorland management
General Cropping Guidance: Only suitable for seasonal extensive grazing
